Jonah is a true story. Jesus shows how Jonah is connected to Him, Jonah was three days and three nights in the stomach of a big fish. The Son of Man will be three days and three nights in the grave also (Matt 12:40). We are also reminded of the urgent need to “go” and proclaim the gospel that saves sinners.
